What is a fulish bushing?

A flush bushing is used in a piping system. It fits inside a pipe to make the size of the pipe smaller going forward. To install this fitting correctly, you need ABS cement to keep the bushing in place inside the existing pipe and to make a strong connection to a pipe with a smaller diameter.
