what is a street elbow ?

One end of a street elbow has an internal thread, and the other end has an external thread. In other words, it is a type of plumbing or piping fitting that is used to connect a piece of pipe to another fitting at an angle. So, a regular elbow and a street elbow are different because of this. The main benefit of the street elbow is that it can be connected directly to another pipe fitting without using a pipe nipple (short piece of connecting pipe).
